I took a peek inside the rapidly slimming-down San Francisco Chronicle this morning. Here's what I learned: Stylish 49ers coach Mike Nolan (left) gets fashion advice now that he's been greenlighted to wear suits on the side; forget that fedora, though; let's talk boxers or briefs! Gay Pride travelers should pack sex toys extra carefully 'cause our buddies at the TSA may be all hot and everything in their uniforms (well, maybe not so), but they're also kinda nosey. And daddies will get shafted once more on this Sunday's Father's Day -- and I mean that in a bad way: Consider the Talking Fly Swatter ($7.99 at Marshalls), a lime-green fly swatter equipped with a tiny speaker that says, "Hasta la vista, baby!" El fun!

Fashion do's for Nolan, plus dildo travel tips!

Remembering the music I miss
Sparky and I might hit one of San Francisco's big circuity events this weekend. There's Industry on Saturday night. More likely: Club Papi on Sunday, where dance hit queen Rozalla is performing, fresh off her appearance tonight at Gay Day at Great America. I've just added three of Rozalla's tracks to the Castro Tunes jukebox to your right -- including gay anthem Everybody's Free. (She's appearing in the Flicks section on the right, too, through the weekend.) Sparky and I probably would go dancing more often if DJs played more vocals like Rozalla's. But too often, the music is programmed for guys on X. And the good stuff seems in short supply.

I dare you to kiss him
Fans of Travis Creston (above) -- the current Mr. San Francisco Leather -- give him a big wet kiss today in advance of his trip to Chicago for next weekend's International Mr. Leather beauty pageant -- err, competition. What: Travis Creston send-off. Where: Powerhouse. When: 6 p.m. [Photo: Joe Oppedisano]

On a sunny day, a sizzling 'Salsa Sunday'
Why limit Cinco de Mayo celebrations to one day? Kiss hot latin men at El Rio, the place to be this afternoon for its weekly margarita-fueled party. With the weather promising to be hot, I want to see lots of skin. After all, the Mission District club promises a way-casual atmosphere: "We have no dress code, but a strong preference for tutus and wigs." What: El Rio's Sala Sunday. When: 3 p.m. Where: 3158 Mission St., between Cesar Chavez and Valencia. Cover: $8.

Where to go today after the Eagle
Truck on Folsom at 15th Street opens at 4 p.m. The new-ish Soma bar is still getting its website in shape. But plan ahead: It hosts a benefit next Sunday for Castro Community Patrol, whose volunteers walk the neighborhood to keep us safe. What: Superhero fundraiser; dress as your favorite superhero. When: Sunday, May 6. Where: Truck, 1900 Folsom St. [Graphic: Gloss]
