Briefs: recalling Booth; toilet cruising 101

Shirley Booth, Oscar's Best Actress in 1953 for playing the wife of an alcoholic chiropractor in Come Back, Little Sheba, was born 109 years ago today; she died in 1992. The poignantly five-hankie Sheba is on the required viewing list at Faggot Finishing School. (Booth was best known for starring in the TV series Hazel.) Plus, ABC leverages the Sen. Larry "Wide Stance" Craig scandal by offering a toe-tapping primer on picking up men in toilets. So academic! "Over time," people familiar with cruising told ABCNEWS.com, "gay men began using a codified system of signals to indicate to others that they were interested in sex."
