Spaniard wins scandal-plagued tour
Alberto Contador of the Discovery Channel team maintained his hold on the leader's yellow jersey as he raced through Paris (above) on the Champs-Elysees to win the 94th Tour de France today. Contador, 24, had nearly given up cycling three years ago when he underwent emergency brain surgery to remove a blood clot, the New York Times says.
