The gay scene portrayed in the U.S. version of Queer As Folk looked way too lively for a smallish (pop. 312,819) western Pennsylvania city like Pittsburgh. Now, the city's in the news again: A local TV station refuses to broadcast ads for Trojans, extending a controversy over the condom maker's efforts to launch a coast-to-coast advertising campaign, the New York Times says.
