Keep cranking out those kids, Quaid

Dennis Quaid first caught my eye in 1979, when he starred in the sweet bicycle racing movie, Breaking Away. He was way-sexy-and-shirtless opposite Cher in 1987's Suspect, where he played a lobbyist who fucked his way to the top. And his portrayal of a closeted '50s suburban husband in 2002's Far from Heaven was heartbreaking. Quaid's always been buff, and now I know why: He suffered bouts of anorexia in the mid-1990s. "I'd look in the mirror and still see a 180 lb. guy, even though I was 138 pounds," he once told Best Life magazine. "For many years, I was obsessed about what I was eating, how many calories it had, and how much exercise I'd have to do." Now, at 54, he's about to become a father again. Whoo-hoo!
